This method needs to combine the water retaining and the table in the factory, so the requirements for on-site measuring scale order processing and installation are relatively high. High, and due to the unevenness of the wall bricks, there will be obvious differences in the gap between the water retaining and the wall, which makes the beautiful seams in the later stage not very beautiful. Therefore, most of the current water retaining strips use the first method.
Then let’s talk about the location of the sink. There are generally three approaches to this position. Defined by the relationship between the sink and the countertop.
The first type is that the sink is covered on the countertop, which is what we generally call an above-counter basin. In this way, the outer edge of the sink is higher than the countertop, so there is a very obvious gap between the countertop and the side of the sink. This position is also a relatively prominent position where dirt is hidden, and it is not easy for the water on the countertop to flow to the sink.
The second type is that the sink is basically flush with the countertop or the sink is about 1-2mm lower than the countertop, which is what we generally call a Taichung basin. This method leaves the gap between the sink and the countertop on the plane. If the seam is done beautifully, it will be much better in the later stage than the first one, and the water stains or stains on the countertop can be easily cleaned into the sink.
The third type is that the sink is bonded under the countertop, which is what we generally call an under-counter basin. In this way, the gap is left under the countertop, and it is more convenient for cleaning and beauty of the countertop. Therefore, methods 2 and 3 are more commonly used now.
