1. Pay attention to heat insulation
The surface of the countertop is generally not burned by high temperature, but long-term local heating of the countertop must be avoided. Do not put hot household utensils directly on the countertop to dissipate heat. It is recommended to use pot pads with better heat insulation to protect your countertop, otherwise, it will easily cause the countertop to crack.
2. Avoid heavy objects hitting or standing on the table
Do not chop big bones on the countertop, impact with heavy objects, or stand on the countertop, especially on weak parts such as stoves and basins. Although the quartz stone countertop has a certain degree of hardness and supporting force, it cannot withstand this impact and gravity, which will cause the countertop to break.
3. Do not use the countertop directly as a cutting board or hit the countertop with sharp instruments
Although the countertop is hard, hitting the countertop with a sharp tool or cutting vegetables directly on it will still leave scratches on the countertop, so be sure to place a cutting board when cutting vegetables. However, if there are traces on the countertop, you can use 180-400 grit sandpaper to gently wipe the surface according to the depth of the knife-edge, and then use a scouring pad to treat it again.
4. Keep the countertop as dry as possible
The tap water we use contains a lot of bleach and scale. If the residence time is too long, the color of the countertop will become lighter and affect the appearance. Therefore, dry wipes should be used after cleaning.
