Quartz stone slabs are included in the national green environmental protection decorative stone due to their antibacterial, high-temperature resistance, wear resistance, anti-leakage, non-toxic, non-radiation, and other beneficial properties, and are recognized by more people and used in countertops. However, during decoration, two pieces or even multiple pieces cannot be avoided, because the hardness of the quartz stone plate is as high as 7 Mohs hardness. After the splicing, in order to make the whole seem to be integrated, the technology of quartz stone manufacturers and processing masters is very tested. Achieving seamless stitching is a major technological breakthrough in the pursuit of perfection.
For the quartz stone processing industry, the hardness of the plate is second only to the hardness of diamond, the nearly harsh raw material ratio, plus the technical limitations, the quartz stone itself is too high, and the particles inside will collapse, so when opening the material The edges are rough, and there will be gaps when splicing naturally. Seamless stitching is more difficult. Even if quartz stone can be seamlessly spliced, it can’t be processed after being polished and polished. The same as the original, there will still be a seam glue line, which has nothing to do with the price of quartz stone, not the high price.
At present, the first requirement for the seamless joining of quartz stones is the very high processing equipment. At present, there are CNC water jet cutting machines on the Chinese market, which have been used by large tabletop processors. After the completion, they are pasted with the same color resin glue from the manufacturer. Don’t use other glue indiscriminately (it is inseparable to glue seamlessly with glue). Before the paste, the color should be matched with the board to avoid color differences. Use paper tape to paste on the edge of the two mating interfaces to avoid the glue from contacting the surface of the board and unnecessary troubles during cleaning. After completion, apply the glue evenly on the joint, and use the F clip to fix it for about 20 minutes (if possible, use a hydraulic suction cup booster). After completion, use a water mill to polish and polish the joints.
